The Jerusalem Cross (one great cross surrounded by four small ones) has stood for the Holy City since the Middle Ages, and has long been read as Christ and the four Gospels going out to the four corners of the world.

Ours is cut from a single piece of olive wood, so the grain flows unbroken from arm to arm. It is a thoughtful gift for a confirmation, a new home or a first communion.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, rub in a little beeswax or olive oil to keep the grain rich. Keep away from radiators, fireplaces and long hours of direct sun.
