Every piece is made by hand by Christian artisan families in Bethlehem and Jerusalem: olive wood carvers, icon painters, artists and silversmiths. Each one comes with a certificate of origin, so you know exactly where it began.

Never. Our carvers use only branches pruned from the olive groves to keep the trees healthy. The trees go on bearing fruit, and the pruned wood is dried slowly before it is carved.

Very close, but not identical, and we think that is part of its beauty. Because every piece is carved or painted by hand, the grain, color and small details differ from one to the next. The measurements on each product page are taken from our pieces; handmade work can vary slightly.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Once or twice a year, rub in a little beeswax or olive oil to keep the grain rich. Keep away from radiators, fireplaces and long hours of direct sun.

Each product page includes care notes for that particular piece.

Yes. Every piece is packed in a gift box with its certificate of origin. In your cart you can add a personal gift note, and we’ll include it with your order.

Orders leave us within 1–2 business days. In the US, standard shipping is $8.95 and takes 3–6 business days, and it’s free on orders over $99 after discounts. We email you a tracking link as soon as your order ships.

Yes. International tracked shipping is $24.95 and takes 7–14 business days, and it’s free on orders over $250. Some countries charge import duties or taxes on arrival; these are set by your country and are not included in our prices.

As early in Advent as you can, especially for gifts going abroad. Allow 1–2 business days for us to ship, then 3–6 business days within the US or 7–14 business days internationally. Carriers are busy in December, so a little extra time brings peace of mind.

Checkout is handled securely by Shopify. You can pay with any major credit or debit card, and with express options such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal where they’re available. Your card details go straight to Shopify’s secure checkout and are never stored on our servers.

The more pieces you gather, the more you save: 10% off when you buy 2 items, 15% off for 3 items, and 20% off for 4 or more. It’s counted across your whole cart and applied automatically, with no code needed. It also combines with your welcome code.

Sign up for our emails and your unique 10% welcome code arrives by email. It’s good for one order within 14 days and works together with bundle savings.

Yes. You can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. If anything arrives damaged, email us a photo within 7 days and we’ll send a free replacement or a full refund, with no need to send it back.
